Entrepreneurs are architects. We create blueprints, much of the time as we go, and build things that once did not exist. Some of us may make improvements upon things that do exist. One thing for sure is that we never really know for sure on if our grand idea will be a success until we actually put things in motion.
Lately, I've been in a delightful and frustrating place full of possibility and uncertainty. An issue that has been a constant is that my vision allows me to see multiple routes, end results, and all the things in between on almost any idea. I know what you're thinking...how is that an issue?! Knowing that less distractions, focus, and intention are essential for success makes me have to choose between all of the potentially profitable plans floating around in my head. How to choose? Here are a few things I know for sure:
1. Don't rush. Timing is important but the things that flow are usually the most rewarding.
2. Write it down. Sometimes ideas are just that and once we clear them off of the dashboard in our minds, they simply remain just an idea. Passion will push the ideas that we are to bring to fruition.
3. Confirmations. Without fail, normally immediately following taking the first big step, some magical piece connects as confirmation that I'm moving in the right direction. If that moment doesn't happen, the self-side eye steps into the situation and re-evaluation commences.
Even if all of these things happen, passion and purpose can still change over time. Listening for and expecting the green flags are the things that move us forward.
